Doctor Gil Gutierrez and Teresa Faxas have been practicing Pediatrics and Internal Medicine in Coral Springs, Florida since 1991. After years of providing medical care that is centered on diagnosing and treating medical conditions (a reactive approach), they havestarted providing preventive or proactive approach to medical diseases rather than just diagnosing and treating diseases when they occur. Thus, Coral Springs Wellness Center was started.
Knowing obesity as a major precursor for various diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, arthritis,
cancers as well as emotional issues associated with it, we are now offering various options for weight loss.
We are also providing bio-identical (natural) hormone replacements for symptoms of menopause, peri-menopause, andropause (men’s menopause), decreased energy and libido, depression and other constitutional symptoms.
Aesthetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, and mesotherapy (localized fat and cellulite reduction with lipotropic medicines) are also available.
Doctor Gutierrez is certified by American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Instructor and a member of American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
